I’m Bryn ‘BYRD’, a professional gardener and illustrator, born and raised in Cornwall.

In my youth, Summer haze days were spent surfing and exploring, winters captivated by storms and kept warm by coal fires, Cornish culture, community, word and song.

I’m heavily influenced by nature and the vast ocean surrounding this peninsula.

A lover of life with a fascination for the macabre, Growth and decay.

I endeavour to portray the beauty I find, through elemental motifs and movement.

Predominantly self taught from a lineage of creatives.

Ive strayed from a previous life of graphic design to a more tactile approach, Ink on paper, paint on wood. Much like my profession as a gardener, I like to be hands on with my medium.
